Mark Foster began his career in advertising as a founding member of a boutique ad agency called Bomb Factory in Venice, California. From there he quickly moved on to sign with Hungry Man in New York as a commercial director.
With an interest in multiple visual mediums beyond traditional production, Foster formed P-13 Productions in 2006 as a creative and collaborative workspace for both the advertising and arts community. His collaborations and projects have taken him all over the world.
Foster’s film and photography work is rooted in his passion for natural settings, portraiture and design. His commercial directing is comedy-based with a strong foundation in non-actor casting and real-people storytelling. He has worked in Hong Kong, Beijing, London, Germany, the Philippines, Venezuela, Iceland, Mongolia, India, Canada and the US.
